More area project photos
Built this Pond near Springfield IL. in 2010, has great watershed and 23ft deep. rip rap around the pool area and has a watering system installed. turned out just as planned.

Nice pond. It should provide years of enjoyment. Work long term will be involved similar to raising kids. The aeration people love ponds similar to yours that has arms. To properly aerate this pond it would need a minimum of five maybe six diffusers. The same surface area and square or oval shape would need two diffusers. Whenever you install aeration make sure the compressor will easily handle the 23 ft depth which means 15-20 psi. Aeration will slow down the pond aging process.

WOW, Thanks for posting, One of several dream ponds I have seen on PB. You should be proud. Do you have and would you post pics from planning,building. In short, what it took to get you here? What are your stocking and management plans if any?
