Excited to get some information to start building a quality fishing/swimming hole. Looked over the forum before registering and this is just the place I am looking for!!!

Just wanted ta welcome ya and tell you to be patient, busy time starting right now. How much research have ya done about sludge removal? OP illineye I Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 5 Northern IL	have dug the pond out to about 8.5ft, but was done blind... got to the sand/gravel in a several spots but very uneven bottom. I am guessing it will raise another 3 to 4 feet till it gets to the overflow. There have been a few adult fish stocked (20 crappie, 70bg, 5 lmb and couple dozen fhm.)
