A year and half ago I completely cleaned out a pond and some weeds grew back in the dirt on the sides whcich made awesome habitat for FHM and Golden shiners right now the water itself is very green no green stuff on top just in the water itself are super small green particles making the water bright green is this a good aglae bloom? Will this kill the fish. I seen lots of small FHM minnows swimming on the top and edge like it didnt bother them.

None so far... This is only my second year owning the pond and I fought this problem last year but it didn't come on until a lot later..
Mine when mixed by rain or wind appears to all the same color...The suspended particles move up and down in the water column depending on weather... It has pretty much caused me to drink and lose many hours of sleep...
