I live in Louisiana near Baton Rouge. Last week we had some really bad weather that caused flooding all around the pond. When the flood waters cleared, it left the pond water beige. How long can I expect the settling process to last before it clears up?

I know on really heavy rain events for me I'm usually looking at 10-14 days before clarity returns...every time it happens I get all wound for sound thinking about all the dang sediment that just washed in.
Cross my fingers, so far this year we haven't had any of that.
