Wow beautiful picture!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

When their real little (that one don't look "fresh") their mom will actually birth them then leave them for about 24-36hrs and then come back and get them once they have kinda stabilized.. where I work is 1300 acres of woods and ag fields basically in the middle of the city.. The deer there are like pets it's amazing they come out of the woods and have their fawns in the mowed grass directly around the plant multiple births are witnessed every year and the babies just hang out waiting for mom to come back pretty cool..

PS - This could just be an adapted behavior because of the circumstances I really don't know never actually thought about it but I don't see mom's leaving their fawns in the woods?

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease..

Little fella is still in the same spot this morning. Don't know if mom came by during the night and left it again or what, but it's been in the same spot for maybe 13hrs. I'm sure it didn't enjoy laying out in rain shower last night, but he looks none the worse for wear this morning. Other than my "doe" worrying about it being left alone so long, all is well. grin
