Last weekend I fished a private sandpit near Ashland NE that was into "week two" of a floridone treatment to treat duck weed and watermeal. In addition to the duck week there was a lot of curly leaf pond weed, some coontail and this: Any ideas? I don't think I have ever seen this around here before.

I agree. Would be a great plant if it didn't spread so much. I hate it and it is near impossible to eliminate from my experience.
