Oh my. Wonder what they will end up finding in the bottom after totally drained. Mice find their way into our well some times and it is not cool at all.

Cheers Don.

I got a kick out of that when I'd seen the news. One kid pees, they drain and sanitize the thing (no doubt the kid will get billed for it and be paying for life), yet this is an OPEN body of water, with animals, birds, wind blown debris, and who knows what else entering the water 24/7 with zero concern of those, FAR more abundant contaminants...

This is a perfect example of public stupidity...like the lady said, it's not like there already isn't urine in that BOW from animals.

Dear Lord what a waste.

And it won't be the last kid that pees in it either. It's probably a dare now.

This silliness reminds me of the coroner in Georgia that was caught dumping corpses and parts of corpses on his property that had a pond. The state paid someone an unGodly amount of money to pump the pond down when all it would have taken was a good size trash pump and 20 or 30 gallons of gasoline. The media was also way high on the volume of water for the size of the pond even if it was a really deep pond. No surprise there though as they typically get their facts wrong on today's tabloid news.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Just heard they started dumping the water and then decided not to finish. It's going to an empty reservoir. It will not ever go into home water pipes.. they say.

They admitted testing the water after the kid peed, and it was still potable quality. A bit of reason peeking through at least.
