blemishes on catfish

While watching the catfish feed I noticed some white- tan colored blemishes on the fishes head -back area. Is this a concern? They are otherwise very healthy, I think. Thanks, Kevin

Do they look like scraped-off areas? CC (and presumably other large Cats) get pretty aggressive and/or affectionate with each other in spawning season, and often get marks like the ones shown below. If this is what you are seeing, they will most likely heal OK.

The blemishes I see look like bleached skin rather than a wound. Thanks ,Kevin
