There are lots of hunters and shooters on the forum, so I thought I would drop this post and see if one or more of you could help me out...

As we all know, ammo is hard to find these days. We don't need to go into why as there are several reasons and it is what it is and we just have to live with it for the time being. Anyways, I have searched high and low both on-line and locally and cannot find a specific type of ammo in the caliber I am looking for. So any help from a good source of yours would be great!

35. Remington is the caliber and I am looking for the Hornady Leverrevolution ammo. That stuff shoots like a charm out of my gun and the ballistics are fantastic. THANKS!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I don't know much about Guns/Ammo,
but I've bought lots of ammo from
these folks since the 2012 election.

They ship real quick. And sometimes
if you check early in the morning
several days in row, items that
show out of stock the day before
will show as in stock.

CJ, both Cabelas and Natchez say it's backorderable. Midway USA can get the bullets to reload. I'd get on both Cabelas and Natchez lists and buy a couple years worth "just in case".

CJ I have that same gun and love it!! It's like a 30-30 on steroids! It's a great brush gun and the Hornady bullets make it a medium range gun as well. I have killed many a deer with mine! I bought 1 box of the LR's and even though I killed a buck with them I had some issues ejecting the bullets and it would jam on me. I went back to Core-Lokt ammo and it was smooth as could be! Either way it's a great gun and I love mine!! The problem is even before the ammo issues it wasn't easy to find .35 cal now it's real hard!!!

Cabela's shows some on the website CJ and they'll ship to store for free if you have anywhere close.

I just checked Cabela's again and they are still showing the .35 Remington as out of stock but back orderable as has been the case for the last month plus.

Looks like that may be my only option. I doubt they'll be in by mid Nov when I need them by though. I guess I will have to make the 20 rounds I have count! Including sighting the gun in!

Save the brass and reload 'em.

I'd save 'em anyway. They are already fired in your gun, and you wouldn't have to buy any brass if you decide to start.

I would add cheaperthandirt.com to the watch list. Also,if you travel much you may find supply and demand is different in other areas. Around Atlanta supply remains tight, but 230 miles south it is more plentiful. This year I have bought more than 2000 rounds of 40 cal down south but none in Atlanta. They often have the elusive 22LR on the shelf.

CJ, the Gander Mtn in Charlottesville is having their grand opening this weekend. Spoke to an employee a couple weeks ago who said they were holding lots of ammo available for this event. I know Saturday is opening muzzleloader season, but I plan on being there Sunday. If you'd like, pm me with a contact number and if I see any I can give you a heads up or pick some up for you.

Looks like Gander Mountains all over are making a big push...the one here had a TON of ammo on the shelves today at lunch. I bought a case of CCI 22 LR (1600). They had plenty.

They probably don't any more though...

Thanks vamaz, finding the Remington Core-Lokt ammo for my .35 Remington hasn't been any issue, it's the Leverrrevolution. If you happen to see some .35 Remington Leverrevolution at the Gander Mountain, please let me know. I'll drop you a PM. THANKS!

I'm going to post this with the hope that it DOESN'T turn the thread towards the polical side of things which will require it to go bye-bye.

The following link isn't good for us shooters.........

Years ago the EPA closed a local junk yard. Everyone on record who brought an old battery in or the vehicle had a battery in it when it ended up there got socked with a 2000.00 bill for part of the clean up. My sisters ex's father got one of those bills.
