Perhaps the first time in recorded history that in the U.S.:
1. Imminent landfall of a tropical system
2. Blizzard warnings
3. Severe weather outbreak this afternoon
4. Santa Ana winds will bring extreme fire danger to Southern California

With eastern SD still on the warm side and under threat of tornadoes, and western SD and especially the Black Hills getting a blizzard and up to 2 feet of snow.
