Is there anyway to monitor these fish to see how much they grow in the next year and if they ever get to 13"???

Should be no problem. They live under my dock, and have pretty distinctive markings.

Is that the same dock where you push people in and they are never seen again?

Yes. Fortunately this young man had no plan to talk about aquatic vegetation.

Okay just to be ABSOLUTELY clear...this is the same dock where you're going to be hosting the gathering, later this month??

Are there predetermined seating arrangements? If it's not too late, I would like to reserve a spot in the back, with easy access to the water.. wink

Cool.....If I screw up, and sergeant-at-arms Omaha is forced to administer discipline, do me a favor and don't pull me out right away.

Nice Bruce!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Nice fish Bruce or should I say lil guy !

If Sprkplug goes in just be sure he doesn't have those fish in his pocket when he comes out !

DIED how is your water situation. Any affect from the big fire or is it to far away ?

i see you also taught him how to correctly hold the fish for the camera laugh

eric, the water situation is dire in nor cal, my pond has never been lower at this time of year. our late winter/early spring rains never came, january-may was the driest on record. i am far enough north of the Rim fire (near yosemite) smoke has not been too bad, couple days here and there, but we've been lucky our SW delta breezes have been working to keep the smoke blowing east. nevada has probably had enough of CA smoke at this point tho.

Holy cow!!! Their mouths have to be huge in order to be lipped--even by a youngster.
