Orange Lilly.
Here is a picture close up to some orange lillys we planted in our little pond. All we did was plant them into a large rubbermade tote with some clay mixed in two large table spoons of miracle gro all purpose.
Planted only 6 roots and have over 10 flowers. 2 red 2 orange and 2 yellow.
Cheers Don.

Those are very pretty! Do you have them sort of grouped together in the pond or spread out?

Wow, nicely done. I'm impressed!

I have two orange in a rubbermade tote, two red in a rubbermade tote, and two yellows in two different totes. Problem is my pond is brand new last spring so only one year and the water level is not settling. It is up and down like four feet. I am hoping it is not a major problem but when we get to the un disturbed clay the water stays there. Its mostly the banks we made. So the lillys are in totes and I keep moving them in and out depending on water level.
Thanks for the kootos.
Cheers Don.

I don't like the sound of water level fluctuating 4 ft. It sounds like you have some leaky upper banks. Were the upper layers just dug or were they compacted in thin layers? Degree of soil compaction can vary a lot based on equipment, operators and soil type. There are way too many ways a pond can leak. A well build dug pond in good clay will vary in depth around 12" to 16" max during real dry weather.
