I know this may sound really stupid, but it might work. I just had a fish die off from low DO. The pond is close enough to my house that I could run a hose and a sprinkler to the pond. I know the city water is horrible for the pond, but could the increase in DO could have saved it?

Fly, it could be some help.....invest in some "Prime" dechlorinator to keep on hand "just in case....a pint will neutralize several thousand gallons of city water for under $10 retail.

I would be really cautious about doing that. In fact, I would not.
Chlorine kills the food chain from the bottom up. And it don't take much at all to do that.
Utilizing an aquarium product for this is not a very good solution. Ponds are not closed aquariums.
The safest way to "destroy" chlorine from chlorinated water for environmental applications (your pond) is to use Sodium Ascorbate, (vitamin C).
The mixing rig ain't cheap, and neither is the product, but much cheaper that other alternative methods.
You are no longer in hillbilly land any more.
Why not go to the hardware store and buy a submersible pump. One that you can attach a garden hose to it, then put it in your pond (in a bucket with holes) and circulate you pond water thru your sprinkler? Make sure that electric circuit has a properly installed GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) and you should be good to go.
My pump was about 50 bucks. Not using it for that tho.

I would bet that amount of city water you are adding, compared to the volume of the pond, as long as it's chlorine and not chloromines wouldn't be an issue. I say that because I know people that do small water changes in an ras system with chlorinated water that don't have issues.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I guess you need to start pumping all this Chlorinated water in soon, to save your fish!
Shouldn't have any problems.

I doubt what he could run out of a hose could save a pond anyways? Unless he has a really small pond then the chlorine would be an issue..
Why did you have a DO crash in the first place Moron? Lol

Why do you think the fish died from DO? We're they piping at the surface anytime? Big fish died first? Do you have alot of cloudy rainy days? Spray anything recently? Lots of heat?

Sounds like it.. I don't think your plan wil fix anything.. You might want to consider a little better hillbilly rig..
