This intruder was in warehouse this morning. I ran up the extension ladder into the rafters and took him down. I carried him into the office to show The Man that I am an excellent hunter as well as all around good Cat. Later I noticed that the intruder was missing from the office floor where I left it.

You need to get The Man to allow you to vacation with us for a week or two this summer.
Your distant cousin, Igor the Siberian, has been so proud of all he has brought us lately -- like the snake he left on the carpet in the living room. Mostly, he just brings his woodland friends to one of the doors, and they take off for another adventure.
Well, he got one very big a surprise this morning. He normally accompanies me to feed the chickens, collect their eggs, and put water in their compound. (He also usually accompanies me to feed the caged fish in both ponds.)
A neighbor brought us three 1-year-old guinea fowl this morning that went in with the chickens. The chickens have been like his favorite family members since we got them. They like him, he likes them. They get along great. He is their protector when they are free ranging.
When we went to feed and collect eggs about noontime, Igor confidently came in the coop with me like always. Then we went into the run to top off the water cans. Wow! We both got quite a surprise. Guineas can scream at ear-endangering levels. They can also attack felines with serious ferocity.
I think he needs a friend to comfort him for a week or two.
What say? You can even drive the "Lizzie" -- our version of your "Mule."

Pretty fat cat!!! I think the guineas are going to need a new "body-guard".

Next time you'll know better than to leave it....nothing like fresh meat!!! I got the second bird during the night. This time I didn't bring it in the office. I ate it in the warehouse. Not much meat so I ate the bones too. I left the remains by the door so The Man would know.
