Thanks for the posting. It was most interesting to me as I just stocked hybrids and Moz. Tilapia in my lake this weekend. I'll be running a real live test of their findings. Thanks.

I'd be real interested in your results...How big and how deep (average) is your pond ? Was thinking about a few Hybrids next year...where did you get yours...I'm just east of Shreveport and looking for a supplier...

The pond is a little over 3 acres with 20 foot depth in fairly large area around dam. I purchased the Hybrids and the Tilipia from Overton Fisheries. My only concern is whether the Hybrids and the Tilipia will survive the early predation of the LMB. I believe they will because I've got a good base of copernosed BG for the LMB to feed on. If enough of the Tilipia survive and reproduce they should set up a good food chain for all the predators including the Hybrids. Time will tell.
