Bless each of you. Embrace the journey ahead of you and seize each day with all that you have, living life to the fullest. Give thanks for every opportunity that comes your way and when you can , help others along the road to fulfillment. Learn as much as you can and always keep an open mind. Never be afraid but stay strong knowing that no matter how dark it may be the sun will come up tomorrow.

Then it will be time to get to the Lake and start working !

Add your own bit of wisdom below to this thread.

You said it all right there!

Eric, in the short time I've been here thank you for all you do, all you've done, and bless you as well!

My Sunday school teacher always told me. (If you think you got it so bad give me 5 minutes and I will find someone who has it worse than you do)

Thats hard to swallow but it sure is true in a lot of ways! After spending 22 days in the hospital in January I do embrace the journey much more now and enjoy it just a little bit more!

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without...My grandma always said it...

I have been involved in many forums the last several years...For some reason my interest always bring me to the outdoors...One thing I can say for sure, people that take the time to spend a few hours a day outdoors tend to treat people better and with more respect...

As for the guys that make this place the place to be on pond info...THANKS!!!

I used to tell my knucklehead son, that in every pertinent decision in life, there is a worse case scenario and a best case scenario.

If the best case scenario is not worth the consequences of the worst case scenario, then the decision should be an easy one to make.

Eric, thanks for sharing more than puddle knowledge.

Both good and bad decisions give results. I could write a book on that.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Success is a little break between failures.

When in doubt about your pond, ask yourself what Eric would do, then nature... in that order.

Eric is like a huge gem that perpetually uh, issues forth many little gems.

You can tell he loves this forum, and everyone on it. But Eric, you're not getting my Bud Lite.

Congrats man, that's a lotta posts!

Modestly speaking. Excluding the thumbs, each one of Eric's fingers has probably hit a key on the keyboard over a million times each, not to mention the mouse clicks and moves.

How many keyboards and mice did you wear out?

He should have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by now. wink laugh (mini roast)

My string trimmer has a spool, guides, a handle, and is filled with line.......my fishing rods have spools, guides, handles, and are also filled with line.........yet somehow, I've never gotten the two confused.

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

Ya'll might have already heard this one, but I think it's worth repeating.

"Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day."

"Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat all day and drink beer."
