Just thought I would show these quick. We put 3 smaller 1 inch PVC buckets near the feeder and the larger one I put out near the end of a tree in the water. So far so good they all worked great. And the real nice thing is like you all said you don't ever really get hooked on them like you do a tree limb. RC

The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!

I sure wanted to get some of these made and in the water during the drought. Now the ponds are near full. Don't get me wrong I prefer the water, but would have been a nice addition and easy to do at the time.

Hey Hello it's still fairly easy if you have a boat. In each one of these buckets right in the center I put a Eye bolt in the concrete. Then I just used a 15 foot piece of rope slipped it through the eyebolt and lowered it into the pond and then pulled the rope back up. No problems. I think I got like 12 bucks in each on of these. Just FYI I went to a 3 gallon bucket. The one 5 gallon I got is HEAVY dude. I put tooooo much concrete in it and it was a little hard to get out there! The 3 gallon buckets worked great for the smaller stuff. If you want to go taller I would use a 5 gallon bucket but just be careful how far you fill it up! You really only need to go about half way that's more then heavy enough.

Since I have old 5 gallons that are not good for much of anything else I will use them. I figured about a 1/3 the way up would be plenty as ell to get them sunk. I Like the eye bolt idea.

BGK: Is there a reason you removed them? Didn't like them, etc.?

No I liked them they concentrated the fish really well..
My pond is focused on monster BG growth I don't want the little bg having a chance to avoid predation, more food for the big guys..
You want them Bing?
