I know that at 2500 posts, I am nowhere near our top folks here on the Forum. However, "round numbers" always seem like a good time to reflect on things, don't they? So, thanks to all the Forum members for all I have learned on this forum. Thanks for all the friendships I have developed through the Forum. Many thanks to Sir Bob for providing this long-running Forum.

Congratulations on hitting 2500 posts.
You say you've learned from the site, but the rest of us have really learned a lot from you, your students, your articles, and the fantastic pond management book you put together. For years I just kept an engineering handbook and my old 1970s Master Gardeners' three-ring binder on my computer desk. Your book became the third go-to book on my desk.
Thanks for all you do.

What good times we've had!
Here's to the next 2500, Doc!

I really appreciate you Doc. I like it when a Professor says "We really don't know".

I have said this before - it’s not how many but rather how good !!!
One of Dave's posts is worth about a hundred of the rest of ours.
I could care less who has how many. I would welcome CB1 or anyone else taking the lead. It’s about answering the questions and encouraging everyone in their journey.
BTW CB1 and DD1 have probably made 20,000 posts if you count the old forum which lost all the posts.
Going to have to think about 15000. Short and meaningful.

Personally from all the knowledge that I've gained from Dr. Willis, I think his posts are worth more than 100 each!

Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge with all of us while not wanting to be in the limelight. I am glad you made this post and took a little credit for all you do!

Thanks, guys. Actually, though, I don't think I post as much as i used to. There is so much good information from so many guys that there often is not much to add. I still try to get here at least once daily, and sometimes more. I'm serious about all the good knowledge on this forum!! The entire crew is great. I really appreciate how the moderators get to the newbies so quickly and in such a friendly manner.

Congratulations Dave. There is a very small handful of members that I ready every one of their posts. Obviously Dave is one of them.

Thanks Dave! Thanks for the Jesse West Fisheries program at SDSU, that is a neat program!
I have something coming your way as soon as I can get to a post office. Been a crazy week so far, but things should get back to normal sometime next week. Eric gave me all the info I needed.
If anyone would like the contact info, send me a PM and I'll copy this to you.
Thanks again, and keep up the good work!

Thanks, JKB. The Jesse West program is a very fun part of our jobs (Brian Graeb is helping a lot, too). Sprinkling fairy godmother dust on students is always fun.

Being overeducated, I've been exposed to a lot of Professors and a few teachers. Dave is a teacher.
