First HSB baby pic
Steve finally had his camera when he got the baby HSB!
I hope I get the details correct: Last time he stocked was a little over 3 years ago (they were ~2lbs at that time) and they grow ~ 2lb a year here.
He caught one last week that was about 1 1/2lbs but didn't have a camera. He said this one was ~8oz.
He also said he's noticed a little bit of action that he believes to be spawning again and has noticed the oil slick last week. We've had a pretty good cold snap so they might be a little behind last year.
Someone asked once if they babies were "viable". He said they are FAST and FRISKY!
So neat!

That's incredible. What are the conditions in the pond again? I know you've stated this before so I hate to ask you to repeat yourself, but having it along with this post and picture would be great.
