I have a 4 acre spring fed pond that is probably 50 years old and is as deep as 18' but averages 13'. I would like to put in an aeration system but most quotes I have received have been in the $3k to $5k range. Are there any options in the $1k to $2k range that I can do myself?
I have read many threads on here with lots of advice from those selling systems, but I guess I'm more interested in people with larger ponds like mine that have made a more budget-minded system work. Thanks.

Nice looking pond/home site. I will have you lifting specs and my ideas on Friday. What email address can I use to send an aerial with tube runs and a lifting spec sheet. Can this unit be put in that shed? Any particular problems with the pond that cause you to want to aerate. Thanks Ted
