Caged 150 3-5" CNBG and 20 4-6" HSB in mid December. The caged fish feed voraciously regardless of water temp--even at 50 deg. F. The two AquaPro DX-25s weren't getting enough Aquamax 400 food into the cage so I moved one and slightly modified it to put all food into the cage.

Looks good. Thanks for the report. Any fish pics? I have a dx-25. Looks a bit different but is old. Works well for small areas.

Interesting cage & feeder setup. Thanks for adding the picture. Keep a close eye on the fish health as the water gets warmer and the fish get bigger.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

It is an engineering marvel-hehe...
Bill, Ewest has suggested when I posed the original idea that the male BG will start getting aggressive as spawning time nears. The BG were 3-4" when I got them even though I wanted and they told me thay had 4-5". If they keep eating like they have been, I "think" they'll be ready for release in April. There are 17 of the original 20 6-8" HSB left which I plan to release at the same time.
