Well, my wife and I just bought a lovely house on 5 acres with 2 ponds in Ohio (between Cincinnati and Dayton) Front yard pond about 1/4 acre, and a back pond about 1/2 acre. I know almost nothing about ponds, but look forward to learning about them and having some fun!
I was really glad to find this forum -- any time i try to find sutff about "ponds" i just get a bunch Koi pond stuff for teeny ponds!
I've already got lots of questions, so thanks in advance to the many experts who will help me out!

Ted Lea -- believe it or not once of my good friends is from Waynesfield, and I have been there several times! Nice tiny town!
It was nice out this past weekend (60+ instead of 30) -- So all the baby frogs were out! Had to catch one just for fun! Little guy could have sat comfortably on a dime.
