Found This Rack Tonight
Trying to get a few last doe hunts in this wknd and found this. I believe I saw this deer a few times during bow season. He was a nice heavy 10 pt.Sad to see him gone. I wish I knew how he went out, unfortunately it was probably an ill placed shot from some other hunter and he made it back to bed down here. The place where I found him is a heavy bedding area. My father and I almost always find a deer every year that someone has shot and it runs onto our hunting ground. Sad but I guess that is just part of it. Just wish he was in someones freezer instead of going to waste. You can see how big he was compared to my size 12 foot.

Definitely a nice deer. Funny how you overlooked him previously there on your back porch, though!

The squirrels and mice had already helped start the breakdown cycle of nature. The left brow tine and the g2 and g3 had chew damage from them. Its nothing major. I never found this deer before today becuase like I said, he was found near a bedding area and we typically stay out from this area. Tonight I decided to venture a little deeper since the season is coming to a close and thats when I stumbled upon it.

Nice buck. Feel bad for the guy who lost it, it happens to the best of them.
