There were 5 in my catfish stocking. They did not have red eyes like I think of as an albino. Only had 2 regularly coming to the feed in the summer so I guess the others got eaten by birds or whatever.
- Dave 4.5 acre woodland pond constructed Feb 2011 - began fill Aug 25 - full pool Nov 18 - fish stocked Oct 25: 1200 Shellcracker; 3800 bluegill bream; 500 channel catfish May 2012: 500 LMB May 2012; 50 "permitted" sterile grass carp.

I have had both, with pink eyes and some without. Easy target for pond birds for sure.

I've always wanted a few albino cats in my pond as a novelty, but decent size ones to stock dont seem that easy to come by. per catmandoo: " White catfish are different than albino catfish. Albino catfish are mutants of channel catfish, and except for being albino, they have the same charateristics as channel catfish. White catfish have somewhat different head and body shapes, and they don't get as large as channel cats. They originally come from rivers feeding the US eastern seaboard and the gulf coast" http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=227257
Fishing has never been about the fish....
