Thanks guys...esshup, several of them came out of this year's spawn with bloodied and mangled tails and fins... hasn't seemed to slow them down any though!

We had 70 degree weather two days ago so I thought I'd sample my HBG pond. Twice within seconds of a worm hitting the water resulted in pulling two HBGs that were a fat 4-inchers. The first batch were planted in May at 1-1/2 to 2-inches. I put in similar size HBGs in late August.
So, I'm hoping I'll be posting photos like Sparkplug before I'm too old to use a computer.
I fished my other pond and caught three small bass on one 3-inch bluegill.
I'm liking these HBG. Thanks for keeping expectations high.
