I built a 8 acre pond 3 years ago and stocked it with 2500 brim, 500 LMB , and 500 HSB Plus FHM. The first 2 1/2 years the water was blood red and clarity 12". We treated a couple of times with Alum and lime and really worked on controlling erosion. Now my clarity is 46 + inches. The bass are really doing well. Most average 3 lb but almost impossible to catch. They feed like Piranas. Is it too late to fertilize?? If not what kind and can I buy locally. Thanks for any and all help Wayn Charlotte NC

No, we made the banks very steep. The pond is 25-30 feet deep in the center I never thought I would ever have a problem with the water being too clear Thanks Wayne
