I built a 8 acre pond 3 years ago and stocked it with 2500 brim, 500 LMB , and 500 HSB
Plus FHM. The first 2 1/2 years the water was blood red and clarity 12". We treated a couple of times with Alum and lime and really worked on controlling erosion. Now my clarity is 46 + inches. The bass are really doing well. Most average 3 lb but almost impossible to catch. They feed like Piranas. Is it too late to fertilize?? If not what kind and can I buy locally. Thanks for any and all help

Is there alot of vegetation in and around the edges of the pond??

No, we made the banks very steep. The pond is 25-30 feet deep in the center
I never thought I would ever have a problem with the water being too clear
