I've been removing bass consistently the past month if say around 40 pounds I got a little more to go haha and I'm gonna give it a brake for a little it's just getting too hot whew. Past few days have been 106 and 108. I am removing all skinny bass under 14in. I noticed today a much better bass swimming through as my bluegill were eating this afternoon. From my point of view te 12-14 I've been catching it doubled them. It had to be around 20+ inches there has been a few 24in+ bass caught from here, so it's not out of the question for it to be there. Meanwhile my bluegill population is amazing I rode the shoreline today and nothing but bluegill every other foot was a couple of bluegill together. I really want to stock tilapia I don't want to stock too much maybe just like ten pounds to see how they do. I wanted to use crawdads, but I just dont know how easy that would be to do. I know my bass need more forage and I need to get rid I all this algae and lily pads (my carp died this past year it was about fifteen years old). Tts another reason I believe my bluegill have flourished and bass sizes have dwindled, the bluegill have more room to hide and the bass aren't use to it yet.

Can you post a pic of the pond/plants? Keep removing LMB until you see the condition of those remaing improve a lot. Sounds like you are moving in the right direction.
