My family and I own pay ponds in WV and we have catfish tourneys every fri. and Sat. and we just had a 50lb. blue cat that was choking on a 15lb. Channel cat. We netted it and took the fish out of its throat and put it back and it swam off anyone else ever seen something like this before. I couldnt get pictures cause it was dark and it was a rush rush situation because it was a big fish.

That is wild man. Too bad you couldn't take pics but very cool that it sounds like the fish will be ok.

Strange as this sounds, I've always felt bad for that fish. Obviously somebody caught it and stuffed that ball in it's mouth. There's no way...not in a thousand lifetimes that a smart predator like a flathead does that.
Holding a redear sunfish is like running with scissors.
