I have a Gast 1/4 hp model 0523 compressor that runs to a 3 line manifold with a pressure gauge and line out shut off valves.

I had some cheap irrigation tubing running to 3ea. 9" membrane diffusers. Duct taping many different steel items to this tubing to sink said lines. It worked all 3 diffusers at first but one quite a few weeks later. This year I found some kinks in the line and tried to straighten them out. I could only get each one to work by shutting off the other two lines. With all gates open, only the shortest run would work. I broke down and bought some weighted hose from Ted Lea and replaced the old hoses.

Let me add, 1 line is 80ft and the other 2 are 150ft.

No change in the performance. The only way to get all 3 to bubble is to partially close all 3 valves and the volume at each is quite low. I closed all three valves and the Gast puts out 9 psi. Thanks

With all 3 valves closed your 0523 should 'peg' the 30psi gauge and if it continues to run should shatter the vanes due to excessive pressure (>30psi). I would check the vanes for excessive wear and a rebuild kit is likely needed or you have an air leak somewhere but that is doubtful since you can only build 9psi at the manifold. Check the front end caps to make sure they are hand tight and O rings are not cracked allowing air to escape. Air can escape from loose end caps.
