BASIC POND MANAGEMENT 'The Manual'

I was thinking about ordering this book, but the details are lacking in the description...

"Never has so much practical field experience been packed into one Easy-to-read manual. This fully illustrated handbook takes you from lake design to raising trophy bass. A ready reference for any pondmeister. "

Would someone please reply with a little more detail about the book? Chapter titles would be helpful. Is it only/mainly about bass ponds, or does it have information about other fish/ponds? How many pages?

Thanks! smile

I haven't read it. However, I have read Raising Trophy Bass that is about a lot more than bass. I have also read Perfect Pond..Want One? and consider both outstanding.

EDit: I looked at your previous posts. Buy the Perfect Pond Book. I keep it on my desk to look stuff up.

I consider it Ponds101.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Thanks.. I already have bought and have read the Perfect Pond book. I'm just wondering what the other book has that Perfect Pond did not have, and if it is worth picking up, mainly for pond maintenance and "fishculture" info...

---- My pond should be going in on Wed... I'm excited! ----

Bass are not my key target fish, so I don't want to buy a mostly bass book...

Thanks! smile
