Does anybody have a problem with blue and green herrings we have 2 blue herrings and like 5 green herrings. I heard they eat alot of fish and I know your not aloud to kill them in my state any ideas on getting rid of them?

Nice, Travis! Chase, there are a number of threads here about Blue Herons as they can potentially be a real issue. Just do a little research in the archives and you'll find some threads. Here's one of many to get you started: Best Way to Scare Off Herons

I've heard a red herring can be a real diversion... You must have worked the night shift! You need sleep!  Chase - you can get permission to get rid of them. It takes a federal permit. I don't remember how you get the permit, but I'd start with the WVDNR. If that doesn't work, try a call to Dr. Semmons at WVU. Ken
