Pond Boss Forums MANAGING AN EXISTING POND Feeding Purina AM 500 or GFC experiment

I'm considering building 2 cages, taking 20 CNBG of the same size, weighing them, and spliting them between the cages..feeding one cage AM500, the other GFC and finding out once and for all what the differences are. I read some threads that say 32% is plenty. others say AM is the way to go. my price for AM500 is $37.95+Tax..GFC is $22.95+tax..My ?'s for the experts are 1.Has this been done before? If so what were the results, if not does the forum even care?.. 2. how long does the exp. need to go on to be credible. 3. what size fish (in inches) would be the best size..4. will some one post a prev thread on the best way to build the cages. if the forum is willing to support this by giving me the details im not thinking of. I'm not a scientist.

I have always wondered this as well, so I hope you do this, for now I am staying with GFC since I have multiple fish eating it. If I had CNBG only eating the food I would consider switching.

So I will be watching for updates.

I can almost feed 2 bags of GFC to 1 bag of AM 500, so I always wondered how that comparison would work out. I am sure if you feed the same amount of each food AM 500 will add more mass, but if you feed 1.5-2x the GFC to AM 500 would the results be different?
