what kind of shad is this?
this shad is about 2 inches long..trying to determine if its a gizzard or threadfin shad..im in deep south texas if that makes a difference?

I'm thinking Gizzard because the lower jaw doesn't protrude past the upper jaw, but I'm interested in seeing what the experts that know for sure have to say.

agree with esshup on all counts, however Im not sure it is either. Something seems odd about it. The color on the tail being one
