Howdy 1st time poster, long time reader. Just wanted to take some time and thank ya'll for all of the outstanding information that is compiled on this site. When we 1st decided to renovate our tank, I had posted it on another forum. A buddy from that forum sent me the link to this site and said I had to check it out. I am glad I did. The info that we got from PondBoss was essential in our renovation. So with that, I say "THANK YOU!" Here is a thread on my website with our renovation if anyone is interested. http://texasfishermen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=396Ryan

Herzog,
Welcome to Pond Boss. Looking at the link, it appears you've done OK with the renovation.
Please don't be afraid to ask any questions. We've got a lot of knowledgeable friends here -- especially in Texas.
Also, it would be great if you could post some about the original problems, how you attacked them, and if the solutions appear to be working. Photos are always great.
Good fishn' Ken

It was basically just silted in from the past 40 years of runoff. It just needed to be redone. Now we just need rain to fill that bad boy up. More structure has been and will be added, I just don't have updated pics yet. Page 3 of the thread (link below) has some shots of the lake completely empty. By looking at that, what would ya'll suggest http://texasfishermen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=396&start=20

Hello HERZOG and welcome to Pond Boss. That is quite a project you have going there.
