Now that it Fall, what are the things that I should be doing to help my pond get ready for the Winter (and next Spring)? I do not have aeration. Algae is all gone.

Do you feed pelleets? If so, Stubby Steves, or the Berkley crappie nibbles seem to work, fished on a #10 hook, under a very small bobber or if you are into UL fishing, no bobber at all.
You could try a piece of nightcrawler or leaf worm.

You misunderstood, he got the tilapia in Ohio.... And he fishes for them in Indiana!(or in an aquarium)

How did you get Tilapia in Michigan? Four Aquaculture facilities in MI raise Tilapia. They may sell for pond stocking. The closest ones to you are in Okemos and Ann Arbor.
