Although I predict that you will have a great birthday, there are so very many birthday variables that have an effect on the actual out come of said birthday celebration that when asked whether or not I thought your birthday will be a resounding success I was compelled to reply "It all depends."

Guys - thanks for all the birthday greetings. I used the little boat today to check out a temperature and dissolved oxygen profile in a pond that was supposedly 26 ft deep. Deepest I could find was 21 ft. Night temps have been cooling here and surface water temps have dropped from high 80's to mid 70's. In the 1 ac pond dedicated to bluntnose minnows, GS, spotfin shiners, YP and walleye the surface down to 10ft ranged from 76.5 to 70.1F and DO 8.1 to 7.2. I think some destratificaion is already occuring in our regional ponds due to surface cooling and some strong winds. Transition zone was 10ft to 13 ft (65.2F) where DO was 4.5-4.0. Below 13 ft DO was 0 all the way to the bottom where temp was 51.4F. Pondowner was thinking his pond was mixing all the way to the bottom since it was deep.
Secchi disk was 3ft.
Oh yes - nice aquatics birthday cakes! I like mermaids and small boats.
