Thanks guys, I had seen several "Missourians" on here as I looked around. Like others I have a hole in the ground. When full it I estamate to be 3/4 to 1 acre in size. But I always estimate large cause it sounds better. Anyway it is leaking and am looking for somebody in this area for their expertise as I am sure I need to drain completly and get it looked at.
So I can tell you more but was not sure which forum to put this in.
again thanks for the welcome
Dave

Justin Whetstine is in Cabool and has the equipment/expertise to repair your "hole".

Contact your local NRCS agent also. Mine has since retired from Texas County, but he worked with and suggested a builder, plus he supervised the entire repair while I was absent.

Hello Dave, we're glad you found us. Don't feel bad, most of the folks found this place after they bought or built their pond. Thanks for joining in and posting.

Thanks Rainman, I will figure out who my NRCS agent for Webster county is and get them involved.
I don't guess Cabool is too far, I was hopeful to find somebody closer as I hope it wont take too much efforts but you never know. It filled up last week during the "flood" and have been measureing it the last few days, it is dropping 8 inches per day from full pool. It has only been full 3 times now and the last times it seems to always stop at a certain depth I didnt see anything on that level so I thought maybe it was the bottom and it was pressure related, it is hard to know.
but again thanks
Dave
