Doesn't look like it. Anything less than a 4 to 6 inch won't do much for me.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Thanks it feels even bigger now that the roof is covered.
The most important thing is the boss is very pleased so all major goals have already been met.

Amazing what a little power washing action will do to bring the cedar back to life.

That time spent flashing those windows will really pay off.

Seeing the earlier pics of the failed panes would have me question what happened to cause the seal failure....

Either way, if you take care of it now, and it sure seems like you are, the Boss will surely remain happy.

It's been awhile sense I've updated this. Basically we have been pondless for almost 2 years now. The Texas drought really took its toll on our little pond paradise. We had a pet 20 lb catfish named whiskers. He some how survived 2 summers and a hard cold winter in less than 18 inches of water along with many of the other fish. I knew for sure that the cold would get them but I guess having a gound water pond has some merit. I believe that is why they made it thru the winter in less than 12 inches of water. After all that we lost whiskers this past week. He washed out the spillway and could not make it back up stream. I found him behind the dam after seeing the buzzards swarming. But no complaints the lord really blessed us with much needed rain fall. Our ponds are full and flowing once again.
Rocky

Congrats on the rain Rocky. I'm envious.

Dave, I sure hope he blesses all of us. The lakes are getting way low.

FYI we got to enjoy your favorite mexican food in Cleburne for almost a year but it closed. Didn't have the following of the original Cowtown store.

What an awesome sight to see Texas in late July!!! Water still flowing...
I hope the rest of you pondbosses where as blessed as we where with rain this year. Some got more than they needed yet folks out west are still needing way more to fill the almost dry lakes.

Mine filled for the first time in many years. Now, it has dropped 7 or 8 inches.

So you're filling the one by the house?

Well its been awhile but we finally got started on connecting the shop to the main house. The red iron is erected. It will all be covered in red cedar to match the house when we are done.
