If I don't really have much for ice overs here in Arkansas and I am not running my air unit in the winter, should I leave it in the pond or pull the line and diffuser out? Does it matter or would it be better to leave in place?
Thanks,

I leave them in if they are membrane diffusers, but I have a separate line closer to shore that I hook up to a much smaller compressor for winter. Sounds like you don't need to bother with the latter.
Stones need to be pulled and cleaned I think.
Let's see what others say especially the experts.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

If you are using the air stones I would pull them up only when turning the system back on the following spring. Clean the stones with a muriatic acid and coarse brush then quickly rinse and place them back into the water.
