I've had threadfins stocked the last 2 springs............and until a few days ago I assumed they were an expensive snack. I was paddling about the pond just before dusk ,when I sighted what appaered to be a school of shad on the surface. They appeared to be just mouthing the surface like little dippling..........can anyone confirm this is how thread fins feed and should I expect their population to flurish now that they have survived and reproduced despite the 14-16 inch LMB ?

I have enough trouble with 26 letters and 10 digits, not to mention all those #&*@#%! punctuation marks.

Good news on the threadfin shad front...........cleaned a bass this weekend at my pond and discovered a 4 inch thread fin in his belly so odds are in my favor that I've got a healthy population!!!!!!!! The downside is that HB haen't really grown much perhaps LMB are a better preditor in my pond. I plan to start a feed program soon, but have my concerns about low water in my pond.
