I recently stocked my pond with 200 trout, and now I have a hawk or some similar bird picking some of the fish out and feeding on them. I've heard that some pond owners add a dye to their pond to make the fish less visible to birds of prey. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have heard of a few instances where hawks have preyed on fish. However, the most common fish stealers that are birds that swoop down like a hawk would are ospreys and bald eagles. A product like aquashade can be use to make it harder for birds of prey to feed on fish.
