Think headquarters will be upset after they get my letter?

Nah! That's marketing hype at the corporate level. I doubt the marketing department has any clue what really goes on within the company.

I once worked for a company where we joked that "Quality is only a motto!" Unfortunately, it was true. They'd ship crap each month that sometimes wasn't even finished just so the VPs and Pres could get their monthly bonuses. Then they'd send field reps out to finish the products and make them work.

So you don't think I'll even get a response, that at least pretends it's a problem, that their local rep refuses to sell to me?

As the quality manager for our company, I'm cringing. Luckily everyone here seems to want to play ball with the whole quality scene. Makes it easy when you only have 22 people total working for the company!

When I worked in manufacturing if we shipped out a part that didn't pass inspection we got grilled big time.

Does that company you used to work for still exist Ken, or did they go out of business?

On a funny note one of our inspectors at this particular plant I worked at had some mental issues. She wrote death threats inside one of the shipping boxes. Needless to say they canned her very quickly.

Anyone ever seen the mock motivational poster that has a telephone with dust and cob webs on it and says, "Apathy, maybe if we ignore the customers, they'll go away."

No but the manager at the local Ace would make me feel like I did something wrong by showing up. I stopped going when i asked her how she was today and she gave me a look as if to say f you. Turns out she had some serious health issues which made here very very crabby to customers. The owner canned her after he got too many complaints. Now with a new manager with a good attitude I'm back giving the store my business again.
