I am new to the Forum. I just moved into the house with The Lady, The Man, and Buck. It is a wonderful place to live except for one problem. Buck hates me! I have been approaching him trying to be his friend, but as soon as I get close to him he growls, hisses and swats me across the side of the head.  Any suggestions? Here is a photo of me that The Man took through the patio window from outside.

Zeke, I'm afraid we're gonna require some proof that you're not a lion or tiger before we accept you as a member of the Forum. Let's not rule out albino jaguar.

I'm sure that once Buck realizes what a great kid you are, he'll warm right up to you.
Sometimes it takes "older" guys a little while to get past the grumpy stage to the more sociable stage (strictly speaking from experience dealing w/Mongo!)

I figured I should report in. I am now nearly 15 months old. Buck and I are good friends. He weighs 6 pounds and I weigh 18 pounds (if you get my drift  ). I am warming up the ironing board for the Lady in this photo:
