You know that is what I had the ol Crosman 760. And I used it day after day. Nonstop. And it never lost pressure. I think if you did not keep the air piston seals lubed they dried out and died. Another was exceeding max pumps. I used to wait for the mailman every single day . . . That post didn't end where I thought it was going to from this point! I'm glad the mailman was not the subject of your plinking!

I also have an old pump up Crossman. I've probably had it for 40 years. The seals are shot and I researched getting it fixed. I found one guy, somewhere in the Southeast, that knows how to fix them. The repair price is more than the gun is worth to me.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Dave, I have taken both of mine apart multiple times ans like reels after the first couple of times the secret hidden spring goes flying you will be as comfortable with them as any reel.
Esshup is right, call or email Tim, if he doesn't have the parts he can steer you in the right direction. Some of those old guns are collectors items, many of the newer models have plastic and nylon parts replacing the steel and brass of the old ones.
