Margaret's Mom died yesterday at home in hospice care, exactly 10 years to the day that my mom died, which I find unusual. The day after Thanksgiving, and a blessing to go on.
She could not have had a better daughter to care for her the last 10 years since her husband died, just like my mom as well.

I'm sorry to hear that Lynda. I'm sure her mother appreciated the devotion of her daughter. You don't see that as much any more as we used to.

Sounds like she had one of those rare daughters who give the utmost of themself to care for family. Margaret's mom had an angel taking care of her when she needed it the most.
God Bless!!! I hope Margaret is doing all right.

She is doing alright. She sent me what she plans to read at the service, it is quite beautiful. Her mom was 85 and sound mind, with body failing. In and out of the hospital, more and more frequent. Margaret managed to keep her mom at her house an hour away, with help of care coming in. What a gift. No nursing home.

Maybe you could send us an address or at least Margaret's email address so we could send our thoughts, especially as she does not seem to check in with us here much.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I will e-mail Sunil with Margaret's information. She will have more time in the future, maybe she will get on here then. Her Mom lived in Flushing, outside of Flint, a little over an hour away when there is no traffic. Margaret usually traveled there to spend the night a couple of nights a week, however the hosptial stays over the past 2 years were frequent, and become much more frequent the last year, Margaret was always at her side. We went last night, she was doing well and has written a beautiful eulogy.
