Don't worry George. Only the good die young. You have a long way to go.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

George - Now you need to convince your Doc that you are needed at the next Pond Boss Conference.

Great news George. I'm sure that the collective prayers of PB guys had some effect. Stay healthy. We already know you are wealthy and wise.

Great news George. I'm sure that the collective prayers of PB guys had some effect. Stay healthy. We already know you are wealthy and wise. You guys are just going to make me tell my story, aren’t ‘ya? HeyBud, you are exactly correct in you statement about support and prayers from my PB forum friends. I can tell you for a fact that pond stuff is the best medicine ever invented by modern man. It was January 2004 when son Jeff and I were scouting the location for our 1/4 acre pond. Cold January day and I wanted to checkout the creek that meandered through thick brush, so I pushed, pulled, and crawled about a quarter mile and returned to the house. That night I peed a clot about the size of golf ball - OOPS - knew I had a problem. Long story short ….. My best friend is also my personal physician so he got me to his urologist the next day. I received the worse experience of my life with invasive tests and biopsy that you can imagine, with a perceived death sentence prognosis. OK – I fired that urologist, and asked my friend to find me the best Doc in the country for a second opinion. He consulted with 4 of his colleagues and asked “where would you send your own Dad?. Three recommended a world renowned Urologist/Oncologist at a teaching hospital that had perfected a procedure and treatment that had become state of the art technology. Normally it would take weeks to see him but my personal physician and best friend picked up the phone and I had an appointment within a few days. The rest of the story: The next 6 months were pure hell – that’s why sometimes I seemed grouchy …. Surgeries – chemo failure – chemo success. Endless hours on the couch after chemo on Mondays – go to the ponds on Thursdays and Fridays, rest on Saturday, put my POSITIVE game face on and start all over on Monday. Next program was three-month exams for a couple of years, then six-month exams, and now GRADUATION Day annual exams My Doc and my cancer Doc saved my life. Wanna know how my Doc became my best friend? I taught him how to fish some 20 years ago. All my PB friends shared this journey. I give you ALL my heartfelt THANKS,

It is we that thank you George. In addition to being an all around nice guy you are a testament to courage and a positive attitude not to mention a strong will to live.
Now we need some more big CNBG pics and some HSB to go with them.
I have noticed that it seems anytime this forum gets involved in the life of someone in need before long good things start to happen. I wonder if Al is up there pulling a few strings?
