I take issue with the antibiotic thing at least here in the U.S. In the U.S. we have hardly any antibiotics we can use and virtually no chemicals. On the flip side beware of the fish you eat from China. God knows what they are feeding them and pumping them up with. Virtually no restrictions there.

I see aquaculture as more a pro than a con. If it takes pressure off our overfished oceans that is a very good thing. We are coming up with fish substitutes in fish diets also.

I agree, if it weren't for the hybrid striped bass, I doubt wild striped bass would have made the comeback they did.

always comes back to pond fish/fishing ;\)

I read an artical the other day about the come back of striped bass. I can't find it.
