Heybud was the first to mention Bigfoot, not me. I actually, in a rather valient and personal sacrafice, tried to get this thread back on track by suggesting to Heybud that what he saw might have been a Chupacabra with large feet. And then you TJ proclaimed your devotion to Bigfoot. From there it's not much of a leap to sock puppets.

If the sock puppet doesn't fit you must acquit.

Think about it. How many socks have you lost in your life time. Laundry is done and you're tring to pair up your socks. You find you're missing one so you throw the unpaired sock in the drawer. But one sock is missing, it's location is a mystery. It's out there somewhere TJ. Mutiply this but the millions of households across the US.

The missing sock has joined an army of socks TJ, millions of them, evolving into Sock Puppets. Constantly honing their deadly skills, waiting for the precise moment.

Taut them at your own peril TJ. See that sock laying in the corner. Is it truly just harmless inanimate object, or in reality is it watching you, reporting your every move to the Commander of the Sock Puppet Resistance Army.
