Welcome to pond boss Andy, I saw your pond pics on the other post, beautiful pond. Those tubes look good for fathead spawning, they stick their eggs on the undersides of structure, you might even cut them into 3 sections to spread around cause they are long.

Looks good. I know they like to lay their eggs under things as I've seen males fanning eggs under some of my stones. But you know what? I don't have a lot of structure for them to lay their eggs under and I have hundreds of thousands of them with new hatches every few weeks it seems. Only thing I ca figure is it's the Chara and Sago pondweed in the pond they are utilizing. Anyone know?
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Andy, that is some of the coolest FHM spawning structure I have seen. I think it will work great!
Cecil, anything flat will be used to spawn on. Leaves from trees in the water, pieces of cattail leaf and I have seen them spawn on the sides of aquariums when nothing else is available. Nature has a way...
