I used to laugh when I read post from those whose fish weren't taking to feeding. I thought that I had exceptionally smart fish because on about the third day mine were after the feed like a bunch of piranha after a bleeding capybara. Even between feedings, I could throw out a handful of AquaMax and watch the water boil with bluegills. However, then I noticed on some days, arriving shortly after the feeder went off, there was no activity. The feed pellets floated unwanted to shore. The fish were just not active that day. My son came upon a website with a calendar that takes into consideration moon, sun, tides etcetera and rates them from zero to three stars for how good the fishing will be. The days when the fish won't eat coincide with "zero" days. Anyone else notice days when the fish won't eat?

Not so much wrt Moon phases. I have always correlated them with feeding too early in the day compared to when the fish are used to eating.
I'm going through an extensive period of LMB not eating as much right now - 3 weeks or more. Maybe that's Moon phase related.

I had two days a week or so ago where the CC and BG didn't eat at all. No idea why. Will have to note the dates when it happens again and see if there is any correlation.

I've noticed major flucuations in feeding behavior due to rapid temperature changes regardless if it's up or down. Rapid temperature changes seem to really stress my fish especially in the cages.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
